Why it exists
Most people who run for school board, city council or the county commission have never run for anything before. The first month is a pile of small decisions, and nobody hands you the list. GOP Kit is that list: thirty steps in the order they usually come up, with a plain sentence on why each one matters and where to go to do it.
Who made it
GOP Kit is made by someone with years of campaign technical experience: the websites, phone lines, voter tools and spreadsheets that sit behind a local race. The steps here cover what a first campaign needs in its first month, in the order it usually needs them.
It is free
The checklist, the templates and the guides are free. You do not need an account and there is nothing to pay. Download the templates, change them and put your own name on them.
Some sites in the same family sell campaign services. Grassroots Hub and conservative.io build campaign websites, for example. GOP Kit links to them where they fit, and every step works just as well with any vendor you choose.
What it is not
It is not legal advice, and it does not state rules, limits or deadlines. Those depend on your state and your office and they change, so the kit points you to the official source instead. Campaign Compliance Hub gathers those sources in plain language.
It is also independent. GOP Kit is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any party committee or candidate.
Keep up with it
New guides and templates will be added over time. If you want to hear when that happens, leave your email.
